Where does the name PLANETii® come from?
The name PLANETii (pronounced "planet i i") was chosen to represent a few of our goals and philosophies. "PLANET" represents the global learning community, while "ii" represents the Roman numeral "2," marking PLANETii¨ as the second world of education to complement in-school education. The graphical representation of "ii" also gives a glimpse of the children in this global community.
What are the minimum system requirements for using PLANETii's services?
Due to our high standards for visual interaction and integrity, we suggest a minimum of the following:

The Flash plug-in can be downloaded for free from the Macromedia website by following this link: Macromedia. Please follow the directions on Macromedia's website for download and install instructions.
How do I make PLANETii.com my start-up page?
Just find your browser below and follow the appropriate instructions.
Internet Explorer 6 and above
1. Select "Tools" and "Internet Options" from the toolbar at the top of the screen.
2. Under the "General" tab, paste or type http://www.planetii.com/ into the "Address" box in the "Homepage" section and click "OK."
Netscape
1. Select "Options" and "General Preferences" from the toolbar at the top of the screen.
2. Select the tab labeled "Appearance."
3. Paste or type http://www.planetii.com/ in the "Browser Starts With:" dialog box. Make sure to select the "Home Page Location" radio button and click "OK."

What ages is PLANETii Math World appropriate for?
The site is designed for Primary 1-6 or Grade 1-8 students. Our child users typically range from age 5 to age 14. We also have features designed for parents.
What type of math questions does the PLANETii MathWorld provide?
The PLANETii Math World currently offers math questions in English for all math topics in Primary 1-6.

Our topics are organized into 5 main learning categories: Number, Measures, Shape & Space, Data Handling, and Algebra. Each topic contains questions of different difficulty levels and of different types, including basic numerical problems and word problems requiring concept application and logical reasoning.

What languages are available for PLANETii MathWorld?
The PLANETii Math World currently offers math questions in English or in Traditional Chinese.
