Eric Wong
CEO
 
Eric Wong joined PLANETii as the CEO in 2007 and brings to the company over 12 years of management and leadership experience. Before joining PLANETii, Eric worked for Squirrel Systems in charge of all professional services, product development, sales, marketing and contract administration for the company's service division. Eric has also worked in various technical and management positions in North America for CIBER, Inc., Chrome Systems and Electronic Arts Canada. Eric currently sits on the editorial advisory board for ServicesRevenue; a trade publication for services marketing and sales professionals. Eric received his Bachelor's degree from Simon Fraser University and his M.B.A. from Dalhousie University.
 
   
 
 
Bella Kong
Co-founder and Director
 
Bella Kong graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) with a S.B. degree in Management Science of Information Technology and Finance. She managed PLANETii's overall product direction during the first few years of the company and continues to advise the company's product research and development efforts. During the initial development process, she worked directly with educators and field experts from M.I.T. and Hong Kong on PLANETii's curriculum. Prior to PLANETii, Bella worked at JP Morgan in Tokyo as a technology analyst and later as an internal business consultant.
 
   
 
 
Lewis Cheng
Co-founder and Director
 
Lewis Cheng co-founded PLANETii and acted as their CEO from March 2000 to July 2003. Lewis earned his Bachelors degree from Cornell University and his M.B.A. from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He stays actively involved in entrepreneurship acting as advisor and investor to various startup companies. Lewis continues to drive the long-term vision and financial planning of PLANETii. Prior to founding PLANETii, Lewis worked at JP Morgan in Singapore as an internal consultant. Currently, Lewis serves as the VP of Operations for Polytree HK Ltd. a diversified manufacturing company that employs more than 16,000 employees across Hong Kong, China, US and Thailand.
 
   
 
 
Joseph Chan
Vice President of Marketing
 
Joseph graduated from University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Architecture. With a team of entrepreneurial engineers, Joseph co-invented a mobile payment platform and successfully commercialized the application in various Asian markets. Joseph earned his M.B.A. from Richard Ivey School of Business with the Dean's Medal. He joined PLANETii in 2005 with an entrepreneurial spirit and brought the inventive math learning platform to over 100 elementary schools. At the same time, he continues to build a strong institutional alliance and a growing user base for PLANETii. Currently, Joseph serves as PLANETii's VP of Corporate Strategy and his main focus is to expand the product suite and distribution network to allow more students from the rest of the globe to benefit from PLANETii's technology innovation and quality education.

PLANETii's team is a group of passionate individuals with tremendous energy, creativity, and talent. Founded in 2000, PLANETii has since grown into a multi-national company intent on bringing personalized math instruction to a global audience.

Instrumental in the development of our products have been alumni from Harvard, Cornell, Penn, Columbia, Stanford, Berkeley, M.I.T., and Yale. Our design team hails from RISD, Cornell, SCAD, Parsons School of Design, and Pratt Institute.

We are a culturally diverse group coming from 10 different nations across Asia, Europe, and North America. This diversity enables us to recognize the global applications of math and use the best teaching methods from around the world to help your child learn.

Patrick Henry Winston
Ford Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science at M.I.T.
Patrick Henry Winston is Ford Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) Winston provided technical support to PLANETii to create the world's most advanced and unique math practice system.

Carl Winter
Graduated from Cornell University, Bachelor of Science
Carl Winter graduated from Cornell University, Bachelor of Science in Design & Environmental Analysis: Interior Design. Upon graduation from Cornell University, he used the creative problem-solving skills he had learned to help build PLANETii. His extensive work in curriculum and algorithm development helped imagine the interactive world for the SmartMath Practice user experience.

Ernest Tse
The Member of Hong Kong Curriculum Development Council
Ernest Tse is an adviser of PLANETii on its math curriculum. He gave useful advice to PLANETii and helped us effectively localize our math curriculum to Hong Kong standards.
